Mother’s Day is almost here! If you’re looking for a place to take mom for dinner, there are plenty of yummy options in the Williamsburg area.
We’ve done some research and found a few local restaurants of Williamsburg that have come up with special menus in honor of mom. These restaurants have all been tested (and approved!) by our staff and we’re excited for what they have in store for mom this year!

Opus 9 Steakhouse
Opus 9 steakhouse is one of our favorite restaurants. They offer an amazing brunch, affordable lunches, delicious cocktails, and dinners perfect for special events. The chefs at Opus are always coming up with new special menus and this Mother’s Day is no different. They are offering Mother’s Day brunch and dinner menus. Reservations are highly encouraged.
Christina Campbell’s Tavern
If mom is a history lover, you’ll definitely want to treat her to dinner at Christina Campbell’s Tavern. This restaurant is located on the streets of Colonial Williamsburg and offers an authentic 18th century dining experience! Reservations are required.
Waypoint Seafood & Grill
Waypoint is a hidden gem in Williamsburg, Virginia. It’s located off the beaten path in an unassuming location, but this restaurant gives great service and amazing food. It’s intimate enough for a few people, but can also accommodate large groups. Reservations are required for parties larger than 8, but recommended for any sized group.
Second Street American Bistro
Second Street American Bistro is the unsung hero of the Williamsburg, Virginia restaurant scene. With reasonable prices, generous portions, and fantastic food, we can’t get enough and recommend it to all of our guests. You cannot make reservations for Second Street, but they do allow for a 30 minute call ahead. Great for last minute Mother’s Day dining!
Le Yaca French Restaurant
Le Yaca is a beautiful restaurant in town that serves what we like to call “friendly French food”. They take the beautiful techniques and flavors of French cuisine and make it accessible to everyone. You’ll need to make a reservation to enjoy this special menu!
