Independence Day Celebration at Colonial Williamsburg

You don’t have to travel far for a full day of Fourth of July fun! If you want to celebrate Independence Day as they did in colonial times, look no further than Colonial Williamsburg. They celebrate with a full day of special events, reenactments, live music, and quaint picnics. And let’s not forget the fireworks! While many places will be shooting off fireworks, you’ll be hard pressed to find a more beautiful show than this one. Be sure to come early for a good seat!

Busch Gardens Veteran Free Admission

If you prefer something a little more modern for your Fourth of July, Busch Gardens is a great choice, too! This local theme park has great rides, shows, animal habitats, and food that are great for the whole family. You don’t need to worry about missing any fireworks, because they also  have a special Fourth of July fireworks show. But their patriotism doesn’t stop there! Veterans get free admission through July 4th!

Waller Mill Park Outdoor Fun

If you’re looking for a low-key way to celebrate the Fourth of July this year, Williamsburg also has options for you. There is nothing more American than getting family and friends together for an outdoor barbecue. Waller Mill Park is a great place to do just that! This park has lots to offer. Not only do they have spaces for grilling and picnicking, but also outdoor activities, such as disc golf, boat rentals, ball fields, hiking trails, and more!
