AleWerks Brewery is tucked away back on Ewell Road, right off Mooretown here in Williamsburg, VA. This hidden gem is just the ticket to take a load off and cool down after a hot day at Busch Gardens with the family. Take the kids to a brewery? Why yes, yes you can. This family friendly atmosphere hosts board games like Connect Four, Battleship, Sorry!, and Jenga for all ages to enjoy. The kids can even play life-size Jenga out on the patio!
And for the adults, brewery tours are available Monday through Friday at 4:30 pm, and on Saturday at 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm. On Wednesdays, the taproom hosts Trivia Night at 7 pm. And every Sunday, there is a live music performance from either Tony Bob Meritt or Train Hoppers from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Not only is there plenty to do while you are visiting AleWerks, there is an awesome selection of beers to try. Whether you like IPA’s, Wheat Ale’s, Stouts, they have it all. The best way to taste them all is to go with the beer flight. And once you decide on your favorite, you can fill up a growler and take it home with you!
