On October the 13th the local plantations, the Shirley, Berkeley and Edgewood will play host to a tour of haunting detail. It is a progressive tour that gives insight to the mysteries and spirits that have been legend in the area. 3:30 at Shirley Plantation is where it starts.
The cast of “Opera in Williamsburg” and the New Town Art Gallery will host a show opener for ‘Lucia di Lammermoor’ on October 15th at 6PM. The cast will perform several pieces from the show
Also at the Gallery former William & Mary coach, Bill Casto, will show his original works of wood sculptures from Oct 15, 2014 to Oct 19, 2014. Casto uses local driftwood and weathered woods to carve his art.
Join in on this haunting walking tour of Berkley’s Plantation to the Harrison graveyard by candlelight, with stories of ghostly encounters, hor d’oeuvres will be served at sunset and end with a tour of the 1726 mansion.
