Not everyone can get in the car and go leaf looking in New England, some of us just don’t have that much time, but luckily if you live anywhere near the coast of Virginia or with-in just a few hours drive, you don’t need to. You can enjoy some of the most beautiful leaf changing right here in the Tidewater area.
Take a drive through town and admire the centuries old trees whether they be Oaks, maples, ash, beech, hickory or poplars. You can find them in the Historic areas as well as the Campus of William and Mary. After that jump on the Colonial National Parkway and take it down to Yorktown to enjoy the beautiful trees and scenery up and down the York River. These trees will start to change anytime now that the temperatures are dropping.
Make sure to book your room or suite in with us where you will return to enjoy your cozy fireplace and some hot apple cider or chocolate in your room or with other guests in the sun room. You will wake in the morning to the smells of hickory bacon and Kona coffee. What are you waiting for?
