As an innkeeper one of my many tasks in preparation to give our guests the most accurate and up to date information on the local dining climate, is to partake of the many delectable offerings our wonderful local restaurants have to offer. Well, at least that’s how I justify it to my husband.
Another local treasure has crossed my path in recent months and I have gone back several times just to make sure it is not just the honeymoon effect that keeps me going back. The food is local, fresh and well prepared. So far I have had the Crab Cakes, the steamer combo and the all you can eat Alaskan crab legs, I am in love! Holey Mackerel has joined the ranks in my book at least as one of the best restaurants in town.
Its a causal atmosphere with a very relaxed look and feel. They have a room off to the side for semi or private affairs with some games for the kids.
