Last night Ron and I were looking for some easy, casual comfort food and boy did we find it!
I had heard rumblings of a fairly new restaurant in town that did cornbread pancakes and that they were awesome so we decided to drop by last night and see if it was some where we might like to brunch one day.
We could not have been more delighted with Honey Butter’s Kitchen. We looked at the menu and decided to stay for dinner. The restaurant has a really nice vintage feel to it with the boomerang pattered, metal trimmed tables and old fashioned stove as part of the decor.
I chose the turkey dinner with mashed potato’s & gravy with fired okra and cranberry sauce YUM! Ron chose the baked ham and apples with green beans, both wonderful choices.
The service was very good, Margarette took care of us just fine. The food was amazingly homemade, simple and inexpensive. both dinners were get this… $11 a piece and we took some home!
Just another fabulous place to get a great meal while visiting Colonial gardens Bed & Breakfast in Williamsburg
