Opus 9 steakhouse is one of our favorite restaurants. They offer an amazing brunch, affordable lunches, delicious cocktails, and dinners perfect for special events. The chefs at Opus are always coming up with new special menus and this Mother’s Day is no different. They are offering Mother’s Day brunch and dinner menus. Dinner features Baked Oysters, Prime Rib Au Jus, and Dense Chocolate Cake to die for! Reservations are highly encouraged.

Christina Campbell’s Tavern

If mom is a history lover, you’ll definitely want to treat her to dinner at Christina Campbell’s Tavern. This restaurant is located on the streets of Colonial Williamsburg and offers an authentic 18th century dining experience! The menu features Tavern Corn Chowder, Seasonal Salet (salad), and Petite Beef Tenderloin. It’s a fun dining experience that will make this Mother’s Day unique! Reservations are required.

Waypoint is a hidden gem in Williamsburg, Virginia. It’s located off the beaten path in an unassuming location, but this restaurant gives great service and amazing food. It’s intimate enough for a few people, but can also accommodate large groups. This year they have created a special menu in honor of Mother’s Day, featuring Seared Faroe Island Salmon and Chef’s Veal Schnitzel. Reservations are required for parties larger than 8, but recommended for any sized group.

Second Street American Bistro

Second Street American Bistro is the unsung hero of the Williamsburg, Virginia restaurant scene. With reasonable prices, generous portions, and fantastic food, we can’t get enough and recommend it to all of our guests. This year, Second Street has a special menu for Mother’s Day. This brunch menu features Chesapeake Blue Crab, Virginia Style Jumbalaya, and assorted Mini Trifles mom is sure to love. You cannot make reservations for Second Street, but they do allow for a 30 minute call ahead. Great for last minute Mother’s Day dining!

Le Yaca is a beautiful restaurant in town that serves what we like to call “friendly French food”. They take the beautiful techniques and flavors of French cuisine and make it accessible to everyone. This year, they have a special menu available only on Mother’s Day. The menu features Grilled Lamb Loin and Sweet Seared Scallops, along with many other delicious choices. You’ll need to make a reservation to enjoy this special menu!
