Blackbeard’s Revenge
Date: Friday, October 30, 2015 & Saturday, October 31, 2015 (5:00 PM-7:00 PM)
Blackbeard’s Revenge takes place at 105 Visitor Center Drive in Williamsburg, Virginia. There will be trick or treating, and a multitude of pirate themed children’s activities. From 8 pm on, however, is more suited toward ages 13 & up, with more haunted fun! Check out the website for more information
Day of the Dead & Halloween Celebration
Date: Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 11am-2pm
Come out and celebrate in Newport News at the Day of the Dead & Halloween Celebration at Peninsula Fine Arts Center. Kids can get their faces painted for $3 to $5 and check out art and traditions associated with the Day of the Dead, including the practice of creating an ofrenda (altar), decorating skulls and enjoying Pan de Muertos bread. Hunt for treats in our Halloween Costume Parade!
Smithfield Farmers Market Fall Fest
Date: Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 9am-1pm
Come join the festivities at Smithfield Fall Festival at 115 Main St. The kids will be able to trick-or-treat at vendors’ tents for kids in costumes. There will also be face painting, autumn treats, handcrafted items, and live music for the whole family to enjoy! Check out their Facebook page for more information
